Invitation to European Renal Nutrition (ERN) ERA-EDTA working group first international conference

Dear Colleague,

We would like to cordially invite you to participate to the forthcoming symposium entitled "Protein Energy wasting, interventions during chronic kidney disease (CKD) and dialysis treatment". This is the First International conference of the European Renal Nutrition (ERN) ERA-EDTA working group, arranged in conjunction with the long-standing NERC conference, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary.

The meeting will take place in Madrid, in November 27th and 28th, 2015, at La Princesa University Hospital. The venue is located within walking distance from Madrid's vibrant downtown.

Protein-energy wasting syndrome is common in patients with CKD, and contributes to the excessively high morbidity and mortality observed in this population. In this CME, we will give an update on the prevalence, diagnosis, clinical relevance, prevention and treatment of malnutrition. In addition, we will try to give answers to clinically hot-burning issues where appropriate nutrition can make a difference!
